Well this Veteran's day was somewhat... productive. Lemmesee... I saw [i]Elf[/i] today with dad. It was good but nothing to rave on and on about. It did have those old stop-motion animation characters from the old Christmas specials (i.e. Rudolph) at some points, which was kinda cool and weird at the same time.
I drove for some time. I'm getting kinda good considering that it's been about 2+ weeks since I last drove. Oh yeah, I stopped by the comic store and bought the first issue to [i]Realm of the Claw[/i] as well as 7 issues of a furry anthology comic.

yayy... Right! How is everyone today? Fine? Bitchy? I frankly don't care what your mood is right now, I just wanna get on with this and perhaps we can yiff at the end of this!
Now tonight's rant is not geared to bash anyone or anything, it's about the wonders of communication.. whether it's vocal or textual, there's still gonna be a misinterpretation somewhere along the lines, it's inevitable. We all know it'll happen at sometime. Now what am I so pissed off about that concerns communication? Let's see... yesterday, I changed something on a character representing myself. Then he came up with some smart-ass and false humor-filled remark about it. I took it full humor and shrugged it off, explaining I did so. Because, you know, I think that should be known.
Then he says today that he didn't want to get a certain game because of the poor reviews it got. Me, being the curious little furry I am, asked him simply just because he didn't want to get a game just because of some damn review. And then he has the [i]nerve[/i] to laugh in my face (in a way) at what I just asked and decides to be a total ass about it. And then he pulls off some pissy fit just because we were having an arguement. Does he IM me to try and discuss it? Hell no.
Why the fuck is it that some damn improv asshole can say anything he wants when I can't. Hm.. seems SO familiar. I can't determine how, though. OH YEAH. I think I know, because it's also happening in my real life. I'm sorry but if you're focus right now is to bring me down then I'm just gonna laugh my ass off at your attempt. Your jokes were... okay.. in the beginning then you became more and more of a total jackass. "You guys are ignoring my character". Maybe we ignored them for a REASON. Maybe all of us can't bend to the will of you. Maybe some of us don't want to play with you. Or maybe some of us just don't give a shit. Have you ever thought about that, funny-boy?
I guess that what I'm trying to say is that I personally don't give a shit of what you think I mean, or if you think I'm a cold bastard... because you can't do anything to stop me or you can't do anything about it at all. What are you gonna do? Torture me with a bad improv act? It'll just make me want to strike back with a horrid neon pink color pencil by either trying to stun you with its brightness or maybe just try and do some nifty run and jump cartoon dive with some warcry like "EAT HOT PINK DEATH, MOTHERFUCKER!!!" and jam the lead and pencil right into your eye and twist it around like a witch over her cauldron or something.

There, now that's done with. Well, I must say I've been inspired by multiple sources to start exercising again (playing DDR and stuff). It was mostly from a furry known as Tursi. At least I'm happy, I find that I've been exceptionally optimistic lately. Even more than I ever have. I'm just a bouncy gay ball of fur! Woo! I haven't had any sugar, too, if you're wondering.

Right. Something was really fucking up my furryness last night.. why stop there when I have an entire day of my art ability being messed up and it's really making me question it... I know I'm a furry, it's just making me torn between two animals. Both are evenly dominate right now, a wolf and a jaguar. Yep. A wolfy and a jaggy.. canine and feline. *sigh* I like both.. but I guess that everyone goes through this confusion. Both Tigertail and Mitternacht said they went through it, too. Even though Mitternacht did say that it took him 30 years to fully find out but even he said he's a slow learner. And I guess I do have a wolf and a jaguar fursona. Weeee! A dual fursona. Rarrr... heh heh. That's pretty interesting, actually. Hm....

Other furs put ads on there looking for friendship, potential marriages, or just yiff. I really want to find a furson around Temecula or near it.. I think Pounced is the best bet than asking around "are you a furry?", right?

I was so close on seeing if it was okay by mom for me to go to FurCon.. the only thing that stopped me was the "it's too far" remark. That stopped me dead in my tracks. True... while San Jose is apparently 6 hours and 42 minutes away, I think I can drive that distance. And it would be a new experience. I know dad wouldn't like it there. "Oh look at the freaks. How can you identify yourself with those freaks. Blah blah blah!" And I know he'll say it, too! It's predictable from his personality. Hell, he can't even stand going to a ComicCon without bitching about a cosplayer or whatever. "Ha ha. Look at that geek/nerd/freak." RAGH! I'm sick of how every single time there's a person who wants to express his or her extent of a fandom by dressing up as a character from or related to the fandom dad always has to comment on it. Does he think that they aren't doing it for anything else besides dress up? Sure, some might. But it's all in spirit of a con. It's like Halloween, minus the candy and other treats. I really do want a fursuit...

Anywho, I saw [i]Scary Movie 3[/i] today. It was pretty good, better than I expected it to be. Although they seemed to just become desperate with the jokes. They repeated the same physical "comedy" a few times... it was stupid... and there was a screaming baby in one of the rows. Which made me think of 2's [i]Babies[/i] rant... and I agreed even more with his words ONCE AGAIN.. but what else is new, right?

*yawn* Hello everyone and good morning to all of you. I was thinking about this subject for quite some time now... it also came up when I was listening to 2's rants again. Anywho. I've been a fur for nearly a now and am slightly going out of that little furry closet and letting others outside the fandom know of my little way thing. Erm.. yeah! ^_^;
Furries are seen as freaks. Sure, some of us dress up in cartoony animal costumes and go to conventions that are filled with other members of the fandom and from what I've heard (beyond the TV's portrayal, that subject comes later) from a very reliable source, the furry conventions are like comic conventions. You see ads for the San Diego ComicCon or maybe WonderCon, or perhaps even A.P.E. that gathers in San Francisco. But you don't see ads for AnthroCon or FurCon (Further Confusion); and why is that? Well for one thing, it's because of the media and general lack of knowledge. But why exactly are we seen as "freaks" by the general population. We don't hurt anyone by having animal spirit beliefs. We don't hurt anything by setting up the conventions and even some of us do walk the streets in a fursuit. Are we hurting anyone? We are like you in every respect... although it seems that the fandom has the largest share of angst than any other. But oh well. I guess that people will call anything they either don't understand or even want to bother to even look it up a "freak" or "odd" or whatever they'll call something these days. I just don't get why people are so lazy to even try to understand something. That's why it's so hard for me to ask my parents if I can go to FC2004 alone. Well, I'm running out of time here so I'll post later.

I don't think that most of the population wants something like me. Aside from my own outward appearence (which I don't think that anyone wants to be with me but fuck them if they don't fucking want me!) there might be other things that any person, male or female, might not want me because of. Maybe things like there's a fucking blister on my lip right now from reasons even I don't fucking now of but can fucking guess; it could be because I wear glasses, it could be because I'm short, it could be because I'm not very vocal, and it could be because my interests are not alike. Or it can just be because the person is a fucking superficial asshole who thinks that a person needs to have a body of a god or goddess. I mean what the fuck?! Is everyone so goddamned stupid or braindead to think that fucking Barbie and Ken bodies are possible for a normal person who has the motivation of a rock?! Try thinking of the person's own personal matters. Do you think that just because you HAVE the idea of a flawless mate, that means you HAVE to want it!? And another thing that pissed me off... I hear some dumbass motherfuckers and bitches say that a celebrity or supermodel is "their wife/husband" and I don't fucking care that you're saying it as a joke. "Justin Timberlake is my husband"... eh, heh.. yeah. Even if that were true he'd just want you for a sex toy and nothing more. Ugh. Okay, I'm easily amused by one of the simplest of things. I was searching for FurCon video and image files last night; first I saw people in fursuits on a dance floor from FC2k3 (FURther CONfusion 2003) and even from that I was amused. Not at all horrified or anything. I think its absolutely cool, actually! Makes me want to go to next year's even more.
And on one of the videos, there's a guy (I'm safely assuming its a man in the wolf fursuit) on a stage dancing simply to a song. The song is catchy and the dance is funny as well as easy to follow (cute, too) I can keep watching it over and over without tiring of it.
Aside from that, I'm downloading and listening to Furry themed music. Don't like fursons? Fuck you, too.

My costume was kinda good, and so was Razor's.. I think he was pissing off Bajin and X because he kept on going on and on how good he looked. I didn't care much.
We dropped our stuff at Razor's house and walked through the darkness to Pizza Factory. On the way there, Razor was walking with his pants down and well I'll just say that Bajin and X were commenting again. *shrug*
When we came back to Razor's house, I was very much to my shock and dismay to discover that his dog pillaged my bag.. eating some of my candy. We talked... watched[/i] Scary Movie 2 [i]for a while.[/i]

Must dad ALWAYS bitch and moan about what the dog does? Seriously... okay, just a few moments ago the dog came inside wet from the pond. Sure, the pond's all grimy adn just.. icky... but dad. That fucking idiot! He started to bitch and complain about the dog being all gross and just ick because of the pond scum... and I think that he hit the dog a few times.
Right... just because he was hit when he did something wrong doesn't mean that he can take his anger out on the dog. And besides, it is HIS fault. HE left the door open, HE let the dog out.. and yet he has the nerve to bitch about the dog and be angry and hit the dog for that.
I swear... when he does that again, I'm gonna strike in defense of the dog. At least the dog doesn't annoy me as much as HE does. HE always thinks that hitting anything with solve the problem. IT DOESN'T!! It'll only make the dog (or person) hate you more and disobey you in spite. Grrr...
OH! And then he thinks he scared me because I stopped playing a game on the PS2 (yea, hell froze over and he stopped playing OutWHORE Volleyball) and wished to type this entry. So now he's mad that he had to wash the dog instead of making dinner. Oh boo FUCKING hoo. I'm not really very hungry anyway.

I'm getting seriously annoyed at dad right now... he's playing a pretty damn repetitve AND boring game on MY XBox right now... "Outlaw Volleyball". Yep... more of the same trailer trash pixelated whores that look as slutty as they are "deadly". I can understand that they made a statement with something like GOLF where you NEED some excitement but goddamn... I don't need to be annoyed by the game constantly. Gives me another reason to move FAR away from my parents, I guess. I love them but dad just annoys me TOO much now with the same simple juvenille "jokes" and "funnies" that he used to pull before. Here's a newsflash you stupid jackass.. YOU'RE NOT FUNNY!!!
The main thing that pisses me off about this is that he's using MY XBox.. and putting the damn game in stereo! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT GODDAMN GAME NOR DO I FEEL LIKE GETTING A HEADACHE FROM CLASHING SOUNDS!! Grrr...

Went to school, went home... went to bed a little bit before or after 9 P.M. The reason, you ask? I HAD A FRIGGIN' HEADACHE!!

Went over to Razor's house, as did Bajin... we stayed there for a while and went to the mall. Played DDR for one set and left to go to LanWerx.. I felt like I was gonna die from inhaling the ashes from the fires around us.. but luckily I didn't die. Although it was kinda creepy when a guy just said something out of the blue.. I forgot what he said. Played DDR for one set again, drank three Mountain Dew's (it owns me, I'm a slave of caffeine addiction, it controls me). Watched some of [i]Darkness Falls[/i] on TV... the boards were pretty slow last night and they still kinda are. I then watched some true story thing... some paranormal thing. Meh.

Was woken up and was able to watch Coming Attractions and Behind the Scenes: Scary Movie 3. It looks kinda good but oh well... had to also help mix cement and mortar for the pond. Why I have to help, I have no damn clue. Oh well, I got my weekly $20 and my parents bought me a new sketch pad.
That's about it.
As of now, the fires in San Diego are getting pretty bad.. the Children's Hospital and the Scripp's Hospital are on fire... and so is the area around Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. So thank whatever god is out there that it hasn't touched Temecula yet.

[i]1.) Went through school (doy..) once again. There was a pumpkin carving contest at school, but I didn't want to participate so the class got nothing (oh, how sad for them) because their pumpkin design sucked. Drew some more (what else is new :wink:), talked with Ben and Paul (whom I will call "Razor" and "Bajin" now) after school. When Razor was picked up, I left to go home.
2.) Went on the internet till about 5:00 P.M. or so... Razor had proposed earlier that I go to the CRC (him and Bajin would be there), and also he called a little before that (or maybe a half an hour earlier?) and dad called a little after I came home, saying that he got Enter the Matrix for the XBox... as well as a soundtrack sampler of DDRMAX2 and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
3.) Went to the CRC, Razor and his brother were there already and they were playing Bloody Roar for the GameCube. I still suck at it horribly, but I'm doing better than before. We then played Soul Calibur II for a while; Razor, his brother, Bajin, and I are pretty much evenly matched at it, which is cool. Unlike how the skill level at Super Smash Bros. Melee is... I'm still at the bottom. :(
4.) Dad picked me up at a little close to 8 P.M., I think, and then mom, him, and I went out for dinner. Though it wasn't exactly a nice dinner, but it was filling... VERY filling.
5.) Mom and Dad dropped me off at the house and they went to the casino. I copied the tracks to the two samplers. As well as the Silent Hill 3 complementary soundtrack that came with the game.[/i]
[b]-Saturday-[/b]
[i]1.) Woke up, went on the internet for a while.
2.) The family left for Brunch, going to Mimi's Cafe. Nice food, nice atmosphere, great all around.
3.) We then went to WalMart, where I "wandered" off to the electronics section (no real suprise there) and found a microphone (finally!). Much to my suprise, my parents paid for it... which shocked the hell out of me.
4.) Parents dropped me off at the house again so they can go to the casino once again. I recorded all lines I needed to. But there is static (light static, nothing to major) in the playback. I hope its good enough for Matt to use. Oh yeah, I also got $20 before the parents left. So now I got $40 and I will most likely order the fanzine that Tigertail is working on... the issue that I talked about a while back that I was interviewed for! ^_^ Then after I orderthe fanzine, I'll wait for the next week's allowance and try to run down to the bank at some time and withdraw my savings. When I get a job, I'll put it all back, and then some. I want to get that foam latex mask from Lyonshel Studios, as well as a bamboo sword for my own Halloween implied plans. :twisted:[/i]

I'm happy that I found MP3s from the soundtracks of [i][b]Shining Force I:[/b] The Legacy of Great Intention[/i], [i][b]Shining Force II:[/b] Ancient Sealing[/i], and [i][b]Shining Force Gaiden II[/b] (Sword of Hajya)[/i]. Three of Sega's best RPGs of its Sega Genesis and Game Gear days, may both systems great names rest in peace. Shining Force's battle system is most likely the very first of its kind back in its days.. the Strategic RPG. Very much like how [i]Final Fantasy Tactics[/i] is... but with a very linear story line, basic enemy AI compared to now, and little to no side quests. What can you expect? It was 16 megs for the Genesis... you can't really fit too much into it like you can a CD based game. It did have great music, though. Still one of my favorite Sega Genesis games of all time.
I might watch Kill Bill either during the weekend... no, that won't work out. My aunt and her boyfriend might come down this weekend.... again. And see a movie again. Last weekend was Underworld... and that's only because my mom and aunt saw some chick flick.. leaving me, dad, and my aunt's boyfriend to see [i]Underworld[/i]... so I have no idea how its gonna go on this weekend. If all goes well, and I'm not in a pissy mood, I may be able to get the microphone during the weekend.
